Suki and Bentley

Suki and Bentley went to the groomers last night. Suki had her first trim and bath. Here are their cute pictures after ward. Tammi our groomer was nice enough to show me how to make the bows and put them in Suki's hair. We also took a family picture in the "Blue Room". Even though it is now green I will still call it the Blue Room. Morley worked so hard on it and I think it turned out really cute. It will be ready when we get lucky enough to call it the nursery.

Suki

So the other day while we were driving to WalMart in Syracuse, there was a sign for Maltese and Yorkshire puppies.  Virginia quickly informed me that we had to stop on the way back home just to see if they had any "Morkies" (a cross between a Maltese and Yorkie).  She has told me for some time that a Morkie is a dog she really wants.  Well we stopped and of course, there was one Morkie available.  This little Morkie was one of seven that the guy had available that day, and it was the last one left.  Virginia had also said to me that if we ever get another dog while we have Bentley that it had to be a female.  Well guess what, the Morkie was a girl.  After a couple minutes of Virginia loving the little puppy, Virginia gave me the 'puppy eyes' and said, "Can we get her?"  I was somewhat reluctant but ultimately caved in.  I told Virginia that it was her late birthday present as well as her Christmas present (so don't plan on any more presents for Christmas, Virginia!)  In the end we love our little Suki.  She is a great addition to the family.  Don't you think?

Hope

This is a poem that my aunt Janell wrote for us about our little girl and it was beautiful so I wanted to share it.
Hope
The pitter patter of little feet will still be yours to hear
And her little spirit, quite often will be near
She'll watch and smile to see the joy you'll find from day to day
And patently she'll wait for you until you come her way
She knows how much you love her and knows how much you care
That's why her little spirit quite often will be there
So look up through the rainbows and shy not from the rain
These promises remind us that life will come again
We'll see the ones who've loved us and with them we'll be
In heaven above with family for all eternity

Heavenly Angel

Dear Hope,
Mommy and Daddy love you so much and we will see you soon. You are such a sweet little spirit and your Heavenly Father needs you. You are part of a great family who all love you too. Watch over your older brother or sister. Help each other to build God's kingdom in the spirit world and Daddy and Mommy will do the same here on Earth, that way when the time is right we can live together again. Thank you for letting us hold you and see your sweet little hands and feet. You have a determined and feisty spirit from Mommy and a kind and gentle heart from Daddy. You had a beautiful body that you will regain when Jesus comes to the Earth again. Thank you for helping Mommy with her testimony. Thank you for sitting with her while she was in pain. We can't say this enough but we love you Hope and we will see each other again.

With Greatest Love
Mommy & Daddy

21 Weeks

Well we are now at 21 weeks. We went to the doctors on Tuesday and she was able to find the heart beat of the baby right away and it is a strong one. The baby in fact was moving around so much she was having a hard time staying on it for us to hear it.
Can I just say that we have an amazing family and amazing friends. We have felt so much love and support the last week and a half. I appreciate all of you guys so much. I have never felt Heavenly Fathers love more prominent and strong then I have the last little bit. His hands are in everything! Even the little things that seem so mundane and not important He has happen for a reason. I love the Gospel and love my Father in Heaven. Thank you everyone who have been praying and fasting for us and this little angel. I will try and keep you updated on what's going on. Please remember to keep praying.

20 Weeks

Today the baby is 20 weeks. If you haven't heard already when we went in for our ultrasound the specialist didn't give Morley and I very good news. The baby has some problems with it enough to where they don't think it will make it much longer. He said that if we can make it to week 24 it might stand a chance of survival. So instead of counting down the weeks we are going to count up. Here is a picture of the baby's face.
