6 Months - 4 Days

We found that feeding Kaili rice cereal was so successful, that we decided to move on to bigger, and better, menu items.  Today's introduction to solid foods comes by way of pureed carrots.  It was another great experience.  Have a look!

We sure love having Kaili and her happiness around.  We hope you all enjoy this video as much as we do!

Our Little Kai Kai

Well, Kaili has finally hit the six month mark (Yay!).  On Monday (her 6 month birthday), she was 10 lbs 11 oz and was 22 inches long.  Not bad for a baby born 7 weeks early who was 2 lbs 6 oz and 15 inches!  In honor of her 6 month birthday, we got the go ahead from the Doctor to start feeding her solid foods.  Here is her first experience with rice cereal:

Overall, I think it was a great success.  The best part is when she learned that she could do this:

I hope you enjoy the experience as much as we did!

Kaili's Giggling

Kaili has recently learned that she is able to giggle.  One day we decided that we should share this with others.  I hope you enjoy Virginia getting Kaili to giggle.

Kaili Ray's Blessing Day

Morley blessed Kaili on January 8th, 2012. It was a beautiful blessing, we then had a luncheon at Morley's parents house. Here are some pictures from that.

Also Adelaide was kind enough to take some beautiful pictures of Kaili in her blessing dress which my mom made out of the same material that she made my wedding dress out of.
